HOMOEOPATHIC REMEDIES FOR STYES


A stye is a painful pus filled swelling at the root of the eye lash due to bacterial infection

A stye develops when a gland at the edge of the eyelid becomes infected usually with staphylococcus aureus . The main symptoms are – pain, redness, tenderness in the affected area, a small pimple appears . frequent watering from the affected eye, afeeling of foreign body in the eye, increased light sensitivity
HOMOEOPATHIC REMEDIES
Pusatilla 30- At the beginning . Styes especially on the upper lid. Worse by cold. Better by cold
Hepar sulph. 30 – If no relief with Pulsatilla . Severe pain and inflammation. Tendency for recurrence
Silicea 30- Styes pustular and suppurating. Burning and redness in the eyes
Staphysagria 30 – An excellent remedy for styes. Styes on the lower or upper lid. Styes recurrent.

Jugulans regia  6—Remains hard nodule, if not treated it may convert in to a cyst. Painful styes especially upper lid
